The glass cutting shop in an industrial suburb of Adelaide has shut down after a few years of business.
Glasscutting has been in the business for almost two decades, but it was not expected to reopen this year.
“I think we’ve always been a family-run business and we’ve had good support from the community,” owner David Ritchie said.
“We’ve been through a couple of bad things in the past but this time we’re doing our bit for the community and the people of Adelaide.”
Mr Ritchie and his partner Sarah have lived in the town for more than a decade, having moved there from Adelaide’s inner west after a job as a chef.
“It’s a bit like coming back from the death of your grandmother,” he said.
