The BRIEnk app has opened up the door for families to sell the things they love to others.
Photo: BRENDAN SMIALOWSKI The world has a huge population of parents who love their kids and have been working hard to put them in the best possible position to be successful, says Simon Wiesenthal, author of the book BRIenk.
But, as a result, many families don’t know how to sell their products.
“There are some things you can do to help with that, so you can get to the point where you have a good product and then sell it to a wider audience,” Mr Wiessel says.
One such tool is the app BRIank.
Launched last year, BRIAnnk is a platform that lets parents sell their children’s stuff online, on TV, and in stores.
It has a massive reach, with more than 100 million users.
The app lets parents market their kids’ toys, games, clothes, gadgets and other products.
Parents can create their own products, and sell them to others through the app.
The website shows which products are on sale and allows users to buy them for cash.
BRIAnk is now open to families who are able to sign up to become a “supporter”.
The app has already seen the launch of an Australian version, where parents can sell items to other Australians.
It also lets parents create an online store, which is available to anyone who signs up to the BRIannaK store, and sells the items to their customers.
“You can be a member of the BriannaK family and actually sell your own stuff,” Mr Biermann says.
Parents who sign up can choose to give their products to others for free or sell them for a small profit.
It’s an approach that helps parents sell products to the public.
For example, Mr Biersmann has a family of four kids, ages four to 15, who all have a BRIAnnek.
His eldest daughter, Emma, who was born in New Zealand, sold her BRIannk products at a family party to a crowd of 40 people.
Mr Briesmann says the whole experience has been an inspiration to him.
“It’s really great to be able to share my joys and passions with other people,” he says.
The family also has a daughter who is a registered nurse.
Emma says she would love to have her own BRI Annk store, but she has had to pay to buy it.
She has also been working with a marketing company to develop a website that will let other families get to know BRIANNK.
“I think that it’s great to have a platform like this to share what my kids love,” she says.

Mr Woesenthal says the new platform is different to the ones that have existed before.
“We’re taking what people already do and doing it for the first time, instead of a lot of the social media platforms that have grown up around them, that have become big brands,” he said.
“So we’re going to do it in a way that is very personal and accessible to parents.”
The app is also designed to be used by adults.
“Parents are going to have access to their kids stuff, but it’s really about sharing and being open to the kids’ ideas and what they’re doing,” Mr Loeffel says.
“The platform is designed to let parents be part of their childrens lives and let them share with the world what their kids have to say about their lives.”

It makes it easier for parents to show their kids their products on a larger scale, he says, and is also an easy way for them to give back.
